Hi! I’m Zalea, a busy executive assistant navigating the fast-paced world of corporate girly life while juggling all the day-to-day chaos. Let me share a bit of my story: I’m 22, a native Coloradoan, and honestly, I never thought my life would take this path—seriously, I pictured myself staying in the mountains forever!
After high school, I dabbled in a few fields, starting in dental and then working at an acupuncture clinic. I dropped out of college without a clear direction, which led to me making the big move to sunny Orange County at 19. And that’s when everything changed. My older sister was assisting the CEO of her company, and thanks to her, I landed a sales job. Just two weeks later, the VP of Sales noticed me and needed someone to assist him—cue me being thrown headfirst into the corporate whirlwind!
While I had basic office experience like scheduling and admin tasks, nothing could’ve prepared me for the high-stakes, fast-moving world of working with multimillionaires. It was a massive leap from my laid-back Colorado roots! But over the years, I’ve not only adapted—I’ve thrived. Today, I assist my old boss (who’s now settled in Tennessee) and also work as an EA/office manager (plus a million other roles) at another company. Busy is an understatement!
